Symbols & Logos using Pen tool

The Logo both above and below is what i'm working on. This is steps of how this were going as i created them. Final logo created with pen tool almost finished

Below, the symbol to the left is what i created using the pen tool. the symbol to the right is the original symbol.

Here is after i traced out the image and fixed up the lines.
